Practice Prioritizing Peace: Regulation
Supporting Your Nervous System

Peace isn’t something you think your way into. It’s something your body experiences.
If your nervous system is in a constant state of alert, peace can feel inaccessible. This week centers on helping your body feel safe enough to soften.
Regulation begins with slowing down. Simple practices—gentle movement, intentional breathing, warmth, quiet—send signals of safety to your nervous system. These signals allow your body to shift out of survival mode and into a state of rest and restoration.
Rather than adding more to your to-do list, focus on creating moments of pause. Even brief, consistent practices can help your system recalibrate.
This week is also about reducing unnecessary stimulation. Notice how constant noise, scrolling, or multitasking affects your sense of calm.
Reflection practice:
Choose one regulating practice to return to daily. Ask yourself:
- What helps my body feel settled?
- When do I feel most at ease?
Consistency matters more than intensity.
